IT teams are like small businesses in themselves. They need to be run efficiently in order to deliver the best service to their customers. TBT works with IT leadership teams to develop successful ways of working. Our work in this area includes designing and implementing effective operating models, ensuring efficient project delivery, and encouraging a focus on improvement.

Operating model

IT leadership teams need to create a strong framework to support successful service delivery. We work with organizations to understand what challenges and opportunities they currently face and help them to adapt their structure, governance, processes, tools and policies to deliver business value. Using a range of methods and workshop-based techniques, we work collaboratively with the IT department and, where required, its customers and supplier team to design the operating model. We ensure that the strategy and transformation plan really meet the demands of the business.

Delivery methods

Strategic vision needs to be matched by day-to-day delivery. We help organizations to find the right approaches to execute their plans. That can include supporting the deployment of ITIL-based processes, adopting Agile development practices, or using traditional project management processes. TBT supports organizations from reviewing and improving existing practices, through to the planning and implementing new methodologies.

Continuous improvement

Effective IT teams put continuous improvement at the heart of their day-to-day activities. TBT uses Lean and Agile principles to help organizations improve their ways of working. From as-is analysis to scenario testing of proposed solutions, we have a number of tools to identify efficiency opportunities and critical challenges. We also help to address these challenges and embed continuous improvement within the organization.
